while i don't own a board based on the sis 611fx, i have built and sold a large number of systems based on this chipset at work.
usually people who don't want to pay much for a system and don't need many features or 3d gaming power, we just throw together one of these for them. mainly sell a P4 2.8B or C with the board, that's probaby the best as there's plenty of CPU power to spare with the onboard graphics and all.
that chipset apparently even supports prescott... i was supprised too when i saw it on the box and put in a P4 3.0E and it worked from all the horror stories i heard of prescotts killing intel chipsets, i thought the sis didn't stand a chance... but it works fine so it should be a safe buy.
