Torchlight 1 was so boring. It was no Diablo...
I'm hoping multiplayer will make it more interesting.
Thank god, cause Diablo sucks.

Can someone tell me what the link says, it is blocked at my work.
I think this was pretty predictable. They pumped to much time and money into getting Torchlight 1 onto XBLA. They are now playing a cat and mouse game with Diablo. Do they risk releasing in January and having D3 get announced and steal all their thunder, or just be patient and polish the XBLA version and not care about the PC market at all?
It says:
"So... where is Torchlight 2? Didn't you guys say that you were planning to try to release this year?"
Well, yeah. We did - and we made a good run at that. We've come to the realization . . .
That's my honest opinion. I loved Trine. I dislike Diablo.
I'd rather they take the time to polish it and do it right instead of releasing some beta piece of crap.
Well, they do have staff who helped with Diablo I believe. I know at least the composer, maybe the blizzard "We'll release it when we feel like" attitude has permeated over?
Those games aren't even related.
If you disliked Diablo, why care about torchlight? Torchlight is the one of the most blatant Diablo clones.
If this game come out after Diablo 3, they'll have to bet on $5 steam sales....
Count me in the $5 bin column if this releases after D3. Definitely looking forward to the game, but I'm skeptical they will be able to release it in Jan.
Although, I think Torchlight II is taking a step in the right direction when it comes to gameplay, and interestingly enough... it's the same exact change that occurred between Diablo and Diablo II when the game went from a single dungeon feel to an expansive world.
