Anybody play a harmonica.

I bought one and have been playing with it today. How hard is it to learn to really play if you have no musical experience? I like the way they sounds and the portability.

I can play Mary had a little lamb and Silent Night. I gave up trying to learn anything that sounded good because it took way too much practice.

Simple stuff like that you could learn in an afternoon. Thats as far as I've gone.

What do you want to do with it? Just play simple little songs, or learn to jam?

I would like to just become proficient with it for starters; it would be great if I could to jam with it. I have no musical talent that I know of, never had opportunity to learn to play anything. I bought a hohner blues harp in C. I have time to learn while I watch my baby, he seems to also like the sound it make so I figured its something we can both enjoy doing.
