eBay's awesome. Sept 7th (day before my birthday...must have been birthday shopping) will be my 7th year on eBay. Not many people can say that. It's a legitimate way to make money on the internet. It's not always easy, it's real work. But you decide how much you want to make. For me, it's just a few hour per month hobby. I talk about doing it more, but never get the motivation. I'd like to make it like a part-time business, but I haven't found my inventory yet.

Yes, very true! And the best part is you don't even have to do anything. There are companies which specialize in handling 900 numbers, and they do everything for you. All you have to do is collect your monthly check. It can't get any easier then this.

I used to have a website with an advertising contract a few years ago. My ad agency became a dot bomb and it was the main source of income from the site and I lost interest in developing that site, so I let it die.

I play a card game called Magic: the Gathering. And well, they've made an online version of it called (surprise!) Magic: the Gathering Online. Anyway... I make roughly $100-$150 online playing that. Nice to make money when you're having tons of fun.

Im going to put the banner ads on a website, hopefully that will get me some money... but the bigger question is.... what kind of website should i make? i used to have a website on gaming, it did pretty well, i was getting 20 bux a month (not bad for someone who was 13 then). anyway, what kind of website do you guys think i should make? GIMME SOME IDEAS AND FEEDBACK. i dont wanna make a site just so i can make money, but i think it will be a fun project for the summer.

Don't count on making much money off of that. To build a website that people like, and to get a substantial amount of traffic takes lots of time. Not likely to happen over the summer.

Two years ago, as a freshman, I pulled in 3000 in one month selling And1 Mixtapes (basketball videos) on VCD. Got permission to reproduce it, did a little marketing, then people just started coming. Spent about an hour a day making them and shipping, and pulled in 500 in one night. Then everyone started copying me ... damn, those were the days.

I'm actually not doing too well on money now. Worked at Salomon Smith Barney last summer as an intern for 8 an hour, Intel this year for less then minimum wage ... so I guess I'm just going for experience until another good opportunity comes around to make some dough.

I run a thumbnail gallery post pornsite. No, seriously. It's not up right now due to server problems, but it will be in a couple weeks. Me and my old roommate made about $200 from that in three months.
