I took my heatsink off to apply some thermal paste, but now I can't get my system to boot up.

im nowhere near you, but what cpu do you have, and did you try and boot it with the hsf off? if you have an axp and you tried to boot it, it is toast. if you have anything else, the odds of damage are low.

I have an AMD CPU, and an Epox MB.
