Not to mention if she wasn't double plugging, those low profile electric earmuffs aren't sufficient protection from that loud of a firearm.
If I go deaf at least I can say it was from listening to fantastic music and not because I under-plugged at the range like some kind of neanderthal.
My late aunt was almost entirely deaf from not sufficiently plugging at the range.
Also no safety glasses? Either this is an entirely fabricated (staged) photo or she really is as dumb as a fucking rock.
I bet when some republican proposes they repeal OSHA due to the vaccine mandates she's entirely onboard.
Looks to be Walker's muffs. I had one of those where you could attenuate ambient noise and plug in a music player, etc. For me it was OK for shooting pistol under .357 and shooting sticks under .303 but the moment this guy showed up next to me at the pistol range and started firing off Dirty Harry rounds like he just found out his wife was bang'in his best friend I started looking around for something much more substantial in the way of hearing protection.
Besides, those Walkers just didn't seem to fit right and snug like I need them to be.
