Now that the Mueller report has cleared Trump of colluding with Russia, how many of you are going to apologize?

The honest truth is, it seems a lot of people here lack critical thinking skills. Its ok to be stupid and gullible, its the limit of your intellectual capability. Yall fell for baseless lies, kinda like believing Hillary would win, but that is another story.

Who will be man enough to step up and post an apology for the lies yall were spreading?
I didn't spread any.

Maybe you can answer a more relevant question. Why all the lies about business with or contacts with Russia from Trump and so many in his administration.

This thread is fascinating righties popping champagne over a report that says we cannot absolve Trump of committing crimes.

No, but Barr can only deviate so far from the truth. I doubt Rosenstein would allow that to happen.

lol, please...Republicans of today lie fluently, led by the liar-in-chief. I'll wait for the report, and I won't hold my breath on that being released in full.

He could deviate pretty incredibly far from what the average American might consider to be an accurate representation of the contents of Mueller's report while still saying true things.

For example his letter says no members of the Trump campaign coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities. I believe him! That statement is pretty unequivocal, but it's also very narrowly tailored.

For example we do know that Trump's longtime friend Roger Stone was serving as an intermediary between Wikileaks and the Trump campaign in order to coordinate on the release of damaging information originally obtained by the Russian government. Was Stone part of the Trump campaign at that time? Nope. Is Wikileaks the Russian government? Nope. Is that going to be considered coordination between the Trump campaign and the Russian government by the average American? Quite possibly.

This is why actually reading the report is important.

There are Russian groups/individuals that have loose affiliation with the government but according to Moscow are not official government agencies.

It would follow the same pattern as CIA's practices in setting up front companies. For instance, there was Permindex and Freeport Sulphur, among others, back in the 60s and 70s.

Even today, if you wanted to insert a CIA undercover operative in a foreign country, you might set up a phony corporation and make him an employee or executive.

Nothing new about this.

There's no doubt that the House committees will have Mueller testify, and there's no doubt -- at least in my mind -- that he would comply and be completely candid.

Trump, his operatives and surrogates, and his Base traffic in arguments that follow a criminal defense attorney representing a likely-guilty defendant and attempting to sell the idea that the courtroom is an arbiter of absolute Truth, without considering the bias in the justice system favoring "reasonable doubt" and other artifices to protect the occasional innocent defendant. This is always their fallback. Take for instance Kelly-Ann Conway's "alternative facts" idea.

To put it another way, there is a scientific standard of the Truth which admits some probabilistic uncertainty without discounting conclusions that are the basis of action, and the legal standard with the bias of rules of evidence or reasonable doubt.

This was explained or argued by Malcolm Nance, the CIA careerist, interviewed on one of the cable news channels. I didn't get the idea from Nance, addressing those who think us mainstream citizens are just lemmings who soak up whatever the media throws at us. Nance only confirmed my own understanding of this going way back to a point where I started re-examining history as an independent research project.

It is baffling to me that so many people have come to conclusions about a report that no one has read.

If/when this report comes out I think this thread will be interesting to revisit.
Regardless of what the report says -- On a daily basis Trump lies and misrepresents facts and is well just dis-honest!
The report will change nothing as far as how Trump behaves!

“I will tell you this, Russia: If you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing." - Donald J. Trump, 7/27/16

If Trump had a back-channel to Russia he'd probably have just used that back-channel rather than saying that in a debate out in the open like the idiot that everyone knows that he is....

And let's revisit that one, too.

It's an exhortation to an adversarial foreign power to hack an opponent's e-mails -- but e-mails which are likely mischaracterized and therefore a fiction themselves.

Where did he get the idea of 30,000 e-mails? Did the FBI analysts note that 30,000 e-mails had been deleted? I've deleted millions . . . . and millions . . . . and millions of e-mails. They mostly came as spam or advertisements from Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, my bank and other sources. How many e-mails would Clinton have received or sent from her home server -- a convenience to her work -- when the larger part of them would be on the State Department servers?

If all the people in Trump administration didn't lie about their Russian contacts/businesses we wouldn't be here. Look in the mirror, Skippy.

The report needs to be made public. What amazes me is Trump’s ability to control the narrative. All the major reputable news outlets have front page articles about how the Barr report is a problem...for Democrats.

Well only the dumb fucks would believe that.

To make an assessment we need the report. Without it we're making assumptions.

And Trump and his AG are trying their hardest that we never get to see it and just have to take their word for it.
