Given the big nothingburger testimony, will any of you be adults and apologize yet for being blind sheep lead by evangelical indoctrinated partisan emotional thinking vs. logical critical thinking?

Sometimes I dont know if you cross over into comedy on purpose or not.
You cant possibly be this daft.
Can he?

I find it fascinating and traitorous at the same time the number of people crowing over the facts...

The Russians offered Trump help to win the election.
Trump accepted the help
Trump lied about accepting the help

Subsequently, over 70 people lied to the FBI when interviewed about it as well.

Yup - this exchange from the hearing yesterday should tell a non-crazy person everything they need to know as to why Trump should be impeached:

Schiff: In short, your investigation found evidence that Russia wanted to help Trump win the election, right?

Mueller: I think, generally, that would be accurate.

Schiff: Russia committed federal crimes in order to help Donald Trump?

Mueller: You’re talking about the computer crimes charged in our case? Absolutely.

Schiff: Trump campaign officials built their strategy, their messaging strategy, around those stolen documents?

Mueller: Generally, that’s true.

Schiff: And then they lied to cover it up?

Mueller: Generally, that’s true.

I'm sure all those lies had nothing to do with the joint defense agreements worked out by the White House...nope, nothing at all. Just a coincidence...

Seems pretty cut and dry to me.
If Russia stole diamonds from a US company (let's say a former US senator's company) and offered them to a competitor US company to help it out and the competitor company knowingly accepted said stolen diamonds and then lied to the feds about it all, most of us would have them in jail.

Why is it any different if Russia steals information, offers it to a candidate, the candidate knowingly accepts the information and then actively lies and obstructs the investigation for years?

Now that the Mueller report has cleared Trump of colluding with Russia, how many of you are going to apologize?

The honest truth is, it seems a lot of people here lack critical thinking skills. Its ok to be stupid and gullible, its the limit of your intellectual capability. Yall fell for baseless lies, kinda like believing Hillary would win, but that is another story.

Who will be man enough to step up and post an apology for the lies yall were spreading?
As you were saying…

That's the point.... Of course there was collusion, that's just a word. He just couldn't prove criminal conspiracy.

The MAGA faithful conflate the two because it helps them feel better about what they want to be true.
What Mueller said is he didn’t analyze the evidence to establish ‘collusion’ because collusion is not a crime.

What he did do though is document tons and tons of collusion between Trump and the Russians, showing how at every level his campaign colluded with the Russian government. It’s been there in black and white for years but conservatives continue to lie about it because they don’t want to admit something that treasonous.

By the way I’m fairly confident not one person who thought people here should apologize for Mueller’s report even though we were right will apologize for being wrong about Durham.

And to be clear the Mueller report absolutely establishes collusion and Trump’s own son publicly confessed to collusion.

Bullshit, you just can't admit there was no collusion except with the Hillary camp....... and btw Epstein didn't kill himself either.

Clown.

1. Trump was receptive to a Campaign national security adviser’s (George Papadopoulos) pursuit of a back channel to Putin.

2. Kremlin operatives provided the Campaign a preview of the Russian plan to distribute stolen emails.

3. The Trump Campaign chairman and deputy chairman (Paul Manafort and Rick Gates) knowingly shared internal polling data and information on battleground states with a Russian spy; and the Campaign chairman worked with the Russian spy on a pro-Russia “peace” plan for Ukraine.

4. The Trump Campaign chairman periodically shared internal polling data with the Russian spy with the expectation it would be shared with Putin-linked oligarch, Oleg Deripaska.

5. Trump Campaign chairman Manafort expected Trump’s winning the presidency would mean Deripaska would want to use Manafort to advance Deripaska’s interests in the United States and elsewhere.

6. Trump Tower meeting: (1) On receiving an email offering derogatory information on Clinton coming from a Russian government official, Donald Trump Jr. “appears to have accepted that offer;” (2) members of the Campaign discussed the Trump Tower meeting beforehand; (3) Donald Trump Jr. told the Russians during the meeting that Trump could revisit the issue of the Magnitsky Act if elected.

7. A Trump Campaign official told the Special Counsel he “felt obliged to object” to a GOP Platform change on Ukraine because it contradicted Trump’s wishes; however, the investigation did not establish that Gordon was directed by Trump.

8. Russian military hackers may have followed Trump’s July 27, 2016 public statement “Russia if you’re listening …” within hours by targeting Clinton’s personal office for the first time.

9. Trump requested campaign affiliates to get Clinton’s emails, which resulted in an individual apparently acting in coordination with the Campaign claiming to have successfully contacted Russian hackers.

10. The Trump Campaign—and Trump personally—appeared to have advanced knowledge of future WikiLeaks releases.

11. The Trump Campaign coordinated campaign-related public communications based on future WikiLeaks releases.

12. Michael Cohen, on behalf of the Trump Organization, brokered a secret deal for a Trump Tower Moscow project directly involving Putin’s inner circle, at least until June 2016.

13. During the presidential transition, Jared Kushner and Eric Prince engaged in secret back channel communications with Russian agents. (1) Kushner suggested to the Russian Ambassador that they use a secure communication line from within the Russian Embassy to speak with Russian Generals; and (2) Prince and Kushner’s friend Rick Gerson conducted secret back channel meetings with a Putin agent to develop a plan for U.S.-Russian relations.

14. During the presidential transition, in coordination with other members of the Transition Team, Michael Flynn spoke with the Russian Ambassador to prevent a tit for tat Russian response to the Obama administration’s imposition of sanctions for election interference; the Russians agreed not to retaliate saying they wanted a good relationship with the incoming administration.

Over three years later, and a few of the regular clowns are still here to thrash about and scream the same lies. Hopeless, of course.

A bigot is a person who, owing to hidden feelings of inferiority, ego identifies with something external like a political party that the people around him or her have also emotionally identified as is in some what sacred and good. Thanks to the strength of that identification, the inferiority complex can be completely repressed. In this way the bigot convinces him or herself they have become a good person.

In this thread we see continued affirmation of the immutable truth of the blindness of bigots. You can't make a person who has put all the eggs of the value of his or her inner self into an evil basket. Stripped of their ego beliefs they would reawaken their feelings they are worthless. They must never allow themselves to see the evil of what they believe. Such people become fodder for manipulation by psychopaths. They can't really fool anybody but themselves and the folk who hold the same sacred cows.

Of note:

'Barr gave Durham a broad mandate in 2019 to hunt for wrongdoing by the FBI or other agencies in the early days of their investigation into potential coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia. At the time, Durham was the U.S. attorney in Connecticut with decades of Justice Department experience, including investigating CIA interrogations of terror suspects.

Trump supporters cheered the appointment, and not just because of Durham’s bona fides.

The appointment was made shortly after the conclusion of an investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller, which found substantial contacts between Russians and Trump associates but did not allege a criminal conspiracy between them.
....

The allegations from Durham’s probe have also not erased the core finding of the Mueller probe — that Russia wanted Trump elected and that Trump’s team welcomed the help — nor have they swayed jurors.

“While Durham essentially tried to put the FBI itself on trial through these prosecutions by pointing to missteps and errors in the early Trump-Russia probe, the cases painted the FBI as more victim than perpetrator and evidence of any orchestrated scheme by FBI agents to steer the investigation for political purposes never materialized,” Robert Mintz, a New Jersey lawyer and former federal prosecutor, wrote in an email.
