The iPad Pro is pretty much exactly what I expected it to be. I'm not wowed by it. As much as I do want a professional grade tablet with Apple's OS, I still think Microsoft's Surface Pro is the better deal. Especially at that price point. For $1299, you can get the i5 model with 256GB storage. Which is how much the 128GB iPad Pro will cost once you buy all the accessories.

Well that's what Apple is good at...making things seamless. They take ideas, especially for interfaces, from good to great...it's that extra 10% that makes Apple different. I have a variety of Android devices & all of them are frustrating to use to some degree due to interface weirdness, manufacturers never upgrading from the shipped versions, and a variety of other reasons. Apple does a pretty good job on that, which is why I have an iPhone instead of an Android phone.

Yeah I mean, it has it's uses. I keep my 17" Android tablet in my kitchen for cooking & it is totally awesome. I have an Android set-top box I like to tinker with (although so far I prefer just having an Atom-based mini PC on the TV for tinkering with...looking forward to an X7 mini-gaming rig).

I'm kind of worried about Steam...they're going to have a hard time taking off with all of their fun little games for their Big Picture initiative for the living room.

TBH if that ipad pro ran real MacOS it would be a killer. IOS kinda cripples it

I would like a hybrid OS. Or maybe dual-boot. A lot of tablets from China (i.e. Geek Buying) have dual-boot Windows & Android. A parallel hypervisor to hotswap between them (or some kind of overlay system like Unity) would be really cool too...use the keyboard as a laptop, but then switch to tablet mode for apps. That'd be sweet!

Dude they should be on USB 4.0 with how far behind the speed is. Dumping 64 gigs of pictures from my iPhone 5S is painful

I don't know how fast the lighting connector is. But I believe they were talking about the internal NAND storage speed.
