Apple watch application differentiators

Now that we're seeing applications update and begin supporting Apple watch, I'm trying to find out and figure out what certain functionality the Apple watch has that makes it different than say a Pebble watch. We know notifications are a primary purpose of the Apple watch but so far the only things I'm reading are the ability to utilize messages and phone calls through the watch.

Does anyone know of a site that compares perhaps the software advantages between say a Pebble Time and Apple watch for us iOS users?

But I recommend you not to buy any of these this year... since it have a lot of flaws.
