Let's face it... Arctic Silver 5 is the most popular thermal paste among the enthusiast communities. It's very well known, performs excellent, and is extremely easy to use.
After some research, I switched over to Arctic Cooling MX-1. It's much harder to apply than AS5, and (in my case) performed a bit better (roughly 1-1.5 degrees). Overall, I'd say it's worth it.
I picked up a tube of MX-2, hoping that it would give further improvements. The problem is, due to recent hardware failure, I won't have anything to test it on for at least a week or two. Has anyone tried it? What's your thoughts on the application and performance?
Thanks.
