For those of you who know about turbochargers, the turbo impeller/compressor blades would be a much better design for the arctic cooling silencer series' fans. The center portion is desgined to suck air in, and the outer fins are geared towards compressing and blowing out the air at the one opening. This, imo, would be a much better design.... anyone else agree?

The only reason i can think of as to why it would not work is the speed of the fan, turbos operate at extrememly high rpm... where as an ideal gpu fan top out at 2000 rpm...

Don't see how the turbo design applies here.

The whole premise behind a turbo is that it uses the engine exhaust to drive one side of a fan,
which in turn drives the intake side, which then sucks in more air creating intake pressure instead of vacuum as in a naturally aspirated engine.

Since you have no power plant like an engine creating an excess of flow here the design
would have no advantages in this context.

no the turbo's power is provided by exhaust gases, the power for the fan proposed by myself is provioded by a normal fan connector.... the thing i would like to see changed is the center bit of the arctic cooling silencer it can have something similar to the way the turbo takes air in...
