Okay, well then I guess we can toss out the argument on your behalf then. Do everyone a favour next time and instead of using the word "fact", try something like "I've heard that..." so we can readily discern the truth from the hearsay. It should not be a big deal to simply admit its your opinion or hearsay rather than producible fact. Why you wanted to protract out the simple act of retracting what was really only your opinion or hearsay simply baffles me. Then again people in your field used to boast all types of fanciful things and many sorts of miracles against the laws of physics when it had a better veil of secrecy. Nobody could contest the evidence because there wasn't any.
