Same. It's nothing but a popcorn movie with some funny lines until they draw straws...then it crumbles me. Of course, I'm a fairly easy cry. Pretty much anything about loss, emotional pain, sacrifice, honor, etc will set me off.
I thought it was the other way around. As in Aerosmith performed it first and a country artist covered it later. Furthermore I remember reading that it wasn't written by either one. It was written by some woman who comes up with made-to-order type pop hits.

I thought the same thing (only because I heard the Aerosmith version first) But my country music lovin friends quickly dismissed this. Maybe they are wrong, either way I dont care enough to look it up.
