Based on the earlier stories/reports, I'm guessing she had a complete hysterectomy and they found it as a result. It would explain the hospitalization/recovery timeline at least.
Wouldn't be a shock for them to want to keep it hush hush if possible. She deserves to be left alone.
I think the sequence of events you posted are backwards.
Prob found ca cells on a Pap smear, did cervical biopsy, then went in for the hysterectomy.
You don’t just go in to perform a total hysterectomy for the hell of it and just “find” the cancer at that point.
Total hysterectomy really screws up a woman’s endocrine system and isn’t the first choice in treatment of anything unless the surgeons kinda knew going in what they might find.
Sad for her, tho. Cancer sucks in any form.
