ASUS A7V Cables Replacements?

If anyone can help me, I might be tempted to worship you. I have tried for at least 3 months to get some stupid cables from Asus. This is it:

I have modded my case, so that the included USB expansion card that comes with the A7V is mounted on the front of my case in a plastic bezel.
This is the problem: I have a full tower and the cables that go from the card to the mobo aren't long enough. All, i wanted to do is get some cables that are a little longer... THATS IT! Nope.. cant do that, Asus doesn't even write emails back or respond to faxes. Let alone they have no phone number in the US. Anybody got any ideas? Could i possibly get a replacement set of the same length and solder them together? Prolly not huh?

Call them, the US # is the one listed as marketing... I just called recently and got a RMA from them, their phone support is very helpful. Their email support is pretty bad tho.

Thanks, but an RMA wont help seeing as how the cables are not damaged. I cant return them, theres nothing wrong with them!

No what I meant was that phone # is for everything in the US! Not just marketing, Im sure they have sales too. I was just saying that it isnt only marketing cause I got a RMA from that phone #.

Keep us updated on your cables, I have an ASUS A7V and was also contemplating on moving my USB ports to the front as well.

Satyr, you are the IDIOT. I've forgotten more about Computer Hardware than you will ever know !!. I mis-read your post the first time that I read it and quickly edited it. If you want to get into a serious discussion on the merits of the Universal Serial Bus, or the Cables used to attach devices to it, bring it on !!

I also know enough about motherboard manufacturing to realize that the Mobo manufacturer does not make the cable packs supplied with the mobos. They buy them, in the Industry standard sizes from outside manufacturers. Your wasting that idiotic head of yours to think that ASUS will supply one idiot with longer cables. Get it IDIOT. Try actually engaging your BRAIN before your Mouth !!
