asus a7v333 wont post

this board wont post at all.im hearing system failed cpu test. i swapped out cpus and its still a no go. i switched between jumper and jumperfree. i took everything out but the bare basics. everything is a no-go. im using rev 1.01 of the manual. is there anything I need to know to get this thing to post? or is my board dead?

I am having the same exact problem. I have two of the exact boards and they both do that. Just wondering if there are any jumpers I have to change.

It might be the SMI switch, it's a switch that needs to be shorted
otherwise the system will boot to a suspend mode and won't post. fix maybe
