I just built my system:
ASUS A7V8X
Athlon XP 2400
512MB 400mhz DDR RAM
eVGA G-force 4 mx 128mb
Maxtor 60GB 7200 rpm ATA/133
Lite-on 52x/16x CD/DVD-ROM
I installed windows XP SP1 while Suspend to ram was disabled in the bios. After enabling it, when i go into standby the box just goes into doze mode.... curious. Well i then set the front power button to put it into suspend and booted from a dos disk. When i press the suspend button the computer gives me three short beeps and then puts it into doze mode. It gives me one beep when i wake it up. I can't seem to figure this one out, could my graphics card be keeping me from suspend mode? The system hybernates just fine... im stumped.. anyone have an answer? Thanks.
