I'm trying to figure out if I have a bad motherboard or there is something I can do to get this thing to post.
ASUS M3A76-CM
Kingston HyperX 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500KHX8500D2K2/2G
AMD Phenom 8750 Toliman 2.4GHz Socket AM2+ 95W Triple-Core Processor Model HD8750WCGHBOX - Retail
Antec 550 watt psu
I've tried running it with 1 stick, 2 sticks, in both channels, in separate channels, my x1900xt in there and not in there, with a vga to dvi adapter and without, with the cdrom hooking up and not hooked up, with the usb keyboard adapted to ps2, etc. I've cleared the cmos, I've reseated the heatsink with arctic silver. I've basically done everything I can think of but all I get is all the fans spinning up, and no signal to the monitor.
Any ideas? My last option is to grab a one of those portable speakers so I can hear error beeps. This thing doesn't have one built in. I'm wondering if this memory is not compatible since it's 2.2v.
Thanks
