Hey Thugs, did you use ASII on the chipset heatsinks or did you just put a fan on the NB and a heatsink on the SB?

That could be the bottom of the cycle...my -E would go up with the fsb in steps, and at a certain point it would go back to 33.6mhz and start the cycle over again. You could be seeing the freq toward the bottom of the cycle at 133 and 150fsb.....also, it never went above 36mhz, that's when the freq would go back to 33.6mhz...just a possibility...

the reason im doing these tests is because @ 195fsb, Auto was king.
obviously something weird going on with the agp above 133fsb.

man.. sure sounds sweet. My 8inxp seems to limit my 2.26 to 171fsb, but I've had it as high as 174 when using 1 dimm. (can do 174 using 1 dimm in 8inxp too).

p4g8x at 195! craaaa-zzzyyy...

Thanks for the extra work. So far, the extra mem BW doesn't seem to produce all that much of a difference in performance. The X-Isle demo seems to be the exception. I forget, that is a Serious Sam engine game?

I would think the next set of benches should be better since your 845E mem freq of 443 DDR @ 166 FSB is about out of gas. You'll have to drop to 1:1 pretty soon. That is where the GB will shine.

hmmm maybe ~ wasnt planning on it but maybe.

the lack of adjustable cas settings on this board when overclocked really hurts performance.
hopefully a bios update will correct this.
in the mean time ill just have to hack it for cas222

current performance is extreamly disappointing
the board is solid as a rock tho

AGP / PCI lock testing @ 170fsb

3dmark2001
auto = 13135
66.6 = 13039
79.9 = failed

looks like theres a problem @ 170fsb with high mhz locks.
i didnt have any other problems using 80/40 so far (upto 195fsb), so this is an oddity.

Yep - it's solid and I am still sitting at 172fsb on this board just like my BD7II
Guess that .7 OC is it for my little 2.4b

Did get a nice boost with the DC and wpcredit/wpcrset at 2-2-2-5
Thanks for the link on the settings. Have not had to use those programs for a long time.
