Asus z87-Plus && PNY ddr3

Anybody have compatability issues between the two? PNY is nowhere on the mobo's QVL so I don't want to rush into things.

I did have success with PNY ddr and a P4s800 but as the saying goes: past performance is no indication of future success.

It should work even if it isn't on the list. I don't have examples off hand but I know i've tons of different memory on asus boards that worked just fine despite not being on the compatibility list; keep in mind those lists are made well before the board hits the market. New memory products won't be on it, sometimes older ones won't either.

In the end DDR3 is a ubiquitous specification so any DDR3 in specs will work. That's how I look at it anyway.

Although now someone else just bought the last kit. Drat :\
