AT BF1942 Clan

Hey, I'm looking for some peeps to join an AT (or not AT) BF1942 clan. I'm kind of getting bored with a lot of the mongoloids online and feel this game could reach much greater potential in a true coordinated team effort. I have no experience leading a clan, and really have no interest in doing so here. However, I will be more than happy to help whatever it takes to get the ball rolling. Post, email, pm any thoughts, concerns, interests, or insights here.

EDIT: Oops, forgot to mention I can probably lend a practice server. Dunno how many people my bandwidth will be able to handle though, but I definitely don't think it will be acceptable for actual matches. Server will be complete once I get a pair of MP's, ETA 1 month.

:Q Crap! 1942 is merciless on bandwidth. FFM mentioned he hosted 20 people on 256k for UT2003, but I guess 1942 sucks in this regard. I can only supply 384 up max.

I'm at 300k/up so I can host 4 peeps .

Check out the server faq.

768k/up = 8 players
1.4mbps = 16
3mbps = 32
7mbps = 62

Also, you can not play on the server.

BF1942 requires a lot of bandwidth to host a server. Other posts have more details.

The AT clan, so to speak as it doesn't really exist, is just a group of people from here that play. We tend to play on the ArsClan servers. The main one being 63.250.7.78, you'll need to visit their forums to get the password, don't worry its in the open there just not my place to post it here. For the AT Clan effect, just put AT or ATOT somewhere in your name, like [ATOT] at the end of it.

Here is a list of all the servers I know about:
63.250.7.78 - ArsClan passworded server (main one I play on, tends to have 10 people a side during its busiest hours)
66.205.139.91 - ArsClan public server
204.248.53.42 - AT server, down last time I tried to connect
204.66.26.253 - AT server, down last time I tried to connect.

I play at ars and random populated servers with low pings. I've been tempted to put an [AT] in front of my name but didn't know what the [Ars] guys would think.

In the few weeks of playing on their server with my nick as MurderDeathKill[ATOT], I've heard one comment from them regarding it. It was jokingly negative.

Now if their server was consistantly full, the passworded one that is, maybe they would complain more. But they don't seem to care so long as you play the game and behave.

Well the click of death from one of my HDs has claimed the RAID 0 array. I will have to pull it, reformat the existing, and start from scratch. This will delay my being in the server because it was my gaming machine
