I've found it much harder to snipe w/ the AK-47 in 1.3... Dunno why, maybe it's just me, but it seems like they may subtle changes to the gun that I don't like. Silenced Colt has almost become my gun of choice for sniping (too bad it doesn't have a scope any more..)

Well I had one up for like 3 weeks and no one played, I could set CS only server up if you all wanted, just PM and let me know, and what maps to play.

[AT]Mem reporting in ,I still play on the UK servers here in England and still get ask about the [AT] tag.

Anyway it serves two purposes,first to remind me where I started playing CS , yep in (Neo`s) and second if you don`t have a tag you get lots of players asking you to join their clan,well my clan is here in AT ,I may not be anywhere near the best player but I`m proud that I`ve never cheated in CS or any other online game ,yes I`ve had my butt kicked but it`s all fun in CS with you guys.

You don`t need a scope with GF around just point her in the right direction and she will flush them out .

I'd run the server on my P4 1.9ghz computer with cable internet, but I might run it on my P2 400mhz. so that I can play (when I play on my server that runs on the computer I am playing on) sometimes. I have a counterstrike server all set up but I just don't use it.

If it weren't for the fact that the firewall at school blocks most ports from the outside (except for port 80 for those who want to run webservers on their own systems), I would set up a full-time CS server for everyone here to use. As it stands right now, I'm running a server here at home for the next few days that I'm home. Have the max players set to 6 at the moment, don't know how many more I'd be able to handle on a pII-350 server and a max 128kbps upload speed (stupid Adelphia powerlink upload caps.... grr...).

If anyone wants to play on the server, I've got a bunch of maps in the rotation, and try to alternate between de and cs maps. I do have jeepathon2k in the rotation.

It is password protected, so you can either send me a PM or an IM to John N2OY for the password (or check the older threads for it; I've posted it a couple times in recent CS posts).

Edit: The error message is something like "netsend error: wsaeintr" or something similar. After looking into it, i think it is a common error that comes from XP. I checked out sully's screenshots, and realized that i haven't seen a lot of those people since i stopped playing. I also noticed that the only one of me is were Neo is about to kill me. fitting >>



It shouldnt affect you. All it means is that HLtv wont work (valves spectator thingy.)

I'm not sure what the exact error was, but after i'm into the game for only a minute or so, i get booted and that error pops up. If i was at home i could tell you exactly what the exact error is.

Cheating has become rampant in the cs community...
As of now, I have detection software that can detect 100% of all cheats out there right now. Its hard to keep up with the latest ones, but csguard seems to do the trick pretty well.

flood, have you taken a look at Paladin? I've used it on a couple of servers and it works great. I encourage people to spread the word about this one, it's the new PB!
