Athlon XP/MP?

Could anybody tell me or point me to where I could find out what the difference is between the Athlon XP and MP?

MP = tested and certified for dual or MP configurations. It has "smart MP technology"

i have also been told MP's are factory unlocked...........

...And indeed the MPs are factory unlocked. I've got my MP 1600 running at 12x 133 right now. I haven't even started foolin' with the fsb. Make sure you get a high quality mboard for o'clocking though.

mps are just xps GUARANTEED to work in duel systems... most xps do too but they arent guaranteed to do so...
