Assuming these new chips are as competitive as the early rumor graphs, ATI has the market wrapped up on price points until Nvidia can get a new chip on out. Nv can't do much maneuvering on price since g200 is xboxhugelol and any price cuts they make can easily be matched by ATI. Just before the holiday season and when the economy is starting to look better, too. Wonder if Nvidia would drop GTX 260s and 275s in addition to the high-end parts just so they can move inventory? If GTX 275 hit ~$150-175 or 260 hit $100 before Xmas I'd pick one up in a heartbeat, screw the new chips.
G300 better get here quick and be good to boot or a lot of people are going to be buying ATI.
