I just installed them, and ran a series of benches. Decent speed boost in X2 and 3dm2k1.

I'm going to install Morrowind tomorrow sometime and see how that runs now.

Also, I am trying to figure this out. My mobo is an AGP 8x board. My vidcard is an 8x card. When I was running win2k, any attempt to run at AGP 8x produced a hard lock as soon as the system started any 3D app. Under XP, AGP 8x worked fine for about a month, then started displaying the same problem. Updating the drivers fixed it this time, last time it was a reformat. Silly windows.

Anyway, here are some numbers for you. I am not sure what happened with Aquamark, so take that one with a grain of salt. Usually, I score around 24k with the Cat3.7s. Not sure why it only scored 14k tonight. Again, silly windows. Pretty decent speed bump in X2 as well.

I uninstalled my currant drivers last night and installed the new 9.8 and......it didn;t even recognize my card as 9600pro...it just said 9600.

So I uninstalled it and reinstalled the CD that came with my card. Its 3.6.

First game I installed was Call of Duty and its ruuning awesome at all full settings and stock CPU settings. I went thru 3 stages with no hick ups or any crashes.

3.6 that is!

The game looks awesome BTW.....big step from PCI GForce 2 MX400

I also got a new 3dmark2001 score of 11550 when OC'ed to 190x11 (reads XP3200 at 2.05mhz).....Im still having issues going to 200FSB....I keep getting blue screens.....

Installed. Results:
Seems to work just as good as the Catalyst 3.8's did. No lockups, graphic problems, etc.

These drivers did not run Tiger Woods 2004 well back to the 3.7's and smooth as butter.

I didnt have CoD crash but it started flickering and got really dark, so I quit right away before anythign worse could happen.

These drivers work very well so far. GLQuake has a very large performance boost and both Serious Sams are a bit smoother too.

imo... 3.7's just work. Looks like everyone hasnt had probs with them, 3.8's 3.9's have some glitches here and there. 3.7's look like they run flawlessly in every aspect, well from what ive used them.

I have an AIW 9800Pro, 3.8 cats would crash running COD, so I went back to 3.7. Just tried the 3.9s and COD won't even start (niether would Jedi Knight 2). During startup it locks and I get the Microsoft Send Error box, doesn't even make it into the main menu. Back to the 3.7s

It is tweaked as far as some registry settings, etc. You can go to the site and find out the details. Just do a search here in the Video section on Omega for a link to the site as I can't remember it.
