ATTRIB Command doesn't work

So I was trying to use the ATTRIB command to change the read-only quality of a folder that a game needs to run, and I typed in

ATTRIB -R E:\Close Combat 5 Normandy Invasion /S /D

as well as the same without the /S and /D. However, everytime I received a

Paramter format not correct -

Anyone have any ideas? Please help, this is annoying!

why don't you just do it with the NT kernal using the files folder properties?

DClive- Thanks, but that's where I discovered the problem. I was trying to use the ATTRIB command and it keeps giving me this stupid error, even when i copy/paste it straight off that site...

lobadobadingdong- Say who now? I'm not exactly 1337 enough to go messing with the kernel without explicit instructions...

Directory name has spaces - use quotes.

ATTRIB -R "E:\Close Combat 5 Normandy Invasion" /S /D

Gawd, I went to the XP newsgroups to try and get an answer and all I got was a snide remark because I replaced a forward slash with a backslash. Not exactly the kind of thing you'd expect from a "Microsoft Most Valuable Professional."

On second thought, maybe it is...
