Here's the situation.
Had windows 98 SE. Audio worked good never had a problem. It would do this thing where if I were playing an mp3 or whatever, than only that application would be able to use sound. Minor set back, but liveable.
I installed XP Pro. Audio works great, except when i scroll. When i scroll in almost any program it slows down the mp3 to almost nill and then scratches it. Sounds like a horrible dj at work. One thing I noticed, also is I can play as many audio things at one time now that i have xp. It's a nice feature to have for gaming, but it sure sucks A*# when you are surfing the web. Any suggestions I'd greately appreciate it.
Sincerely, Wade
By the way, I downloaded the most recent Drivers for my motherboard and sound card (its onboard audio) It's an Epox motherboard.
