Audio Problems! Plz anyone know?

I used 3 differant soundcards, and i allways have a problem with Line-In Audio, its allways 1/2 the volume of EVERYTHING else.


All my sound mixer bars are maxed, i dont understand why its like hardwared at 50% volume,, anyone know?

What source are you connecting to the line in? The amplifier on most modern PCI soundcards isn't too strong, and it isn't going to help if the source has a low output amp.

from my cable box, using RCA to the headphone jack plug. do they sell mini amps for this?
