Audio/video recording software?

Hi all, my school video records their lectures on an adobe connect type software within the school's website. unfortunately it doesnt let you download it since its adobe format or whatever and I'm stuck watching it on my desktop. I was wondering if anyone knew of good software that can record the video and audio off the webpage so that I can view the lectures on my ipad away from my desk?

Snagit. I believe there may be a similar freeware program, too - but I don't remember the name.

I believe you should be able to do this with Microsoft Expression Encoder as well. There's a free version, unfortunately it's limited to 10 minutes of capture.
