I read (on guru3d I think) about Asus investing in a fully automated facility for making graphics cards. The facility has been running for some time now and the motivation for the investment was due to quality of products from hand soldering parts. They can also produce more product in less time.
But now I wonder if the other graphics card makers are using automated facilities or not. It definitely gives Asus an advantage if they are the only one and I would expect the others to do the same if they haven't already.
