Ive had to listen to Roy this and Roy that all f&*kin week from my neighbors (who, I might add, are die-hard blues fans...yeah, we f*cked them good too) he even said he was gonna put up a poster of him in his window looking over my yard. better add 6 holes for accuracy.....

I wasnt mad, I just got tired of hearing the sh*t, thats all. they did the same thing when the wings played the blues. they were the ones talking sh*t, not me. I just said detroit was gonna win and they gave me sh*t over it. well, we kicked their a$$es, then they said we'd never beat Roy, well we kicked his a$$ pretty good tonite and sent them packing too.

Ive been very restrained this whole playoff year, so excuse me if I get a little excited. the REAL stanley cup was played tonite and the DETROIT F*CKING RED WINGS WON IT, EXPLA-F*CKING-NATION POINT

Ive seen them lose too many times to Colorado and still hold ill feelings over the Claude Lemieux incident from 96, so sorry, but I could care less if I offend a Colorado fan. hell, peter "im even dirtier than Tomas Holmstrom" forsberg is enough to hate them right there!

It's very hard to argue that Waah is not the best goalie of all time... However, you have to agree that he's definitely the most arrogant goalie (if not player, period) in the game today.

I laughed my ass off when he tried to show up Stevie Y. with the ol' "Statue of Liberty", only to realize a split second later that he forgot a key ingrediant... THE PUCK!

The Wings wore down the Avs. They beat them at the "war of attrition." In the last two games, the Wings completely outhustled the Avs... And actually the entire series. Out-shot them ~2:1, the relative amount of time in the offensive zone was obscene, etc.

The Avs played an awesome series, mostly because of Waah. But it was only a matter of time before that dam broke. (And boy did it ever! )

I don't care if avs have peter forsberg or joe sakic or drury or whatever best players. They got tied up to game 7 by both kings and sharks. Avs rely too much on their defensemen and patrick roy. Most of the series they get outshot one way or the other. It's patrick roy who kept them alive to this date. It was like this last year. Sure they do pretty good in regular season but patrick roy isn't god.

Sakic and Foresburg have the most goals in the entire NHL play-offs and Forsie has the most points, they have proved their worth, so that kills that OPINION ... but I only expected an average Hockey fan to know that I guess

But yes he is arrogent and that sucks that he is I agree, but the Wings are made of pure arrogence and money also, they were not even a team till this last summer, they were built to get the cup, Many of the Ave's have been a team since 1996 when the Ave's started Many Wings were taken from teams that had no one and they need em. really takes away from the entire sport which many here are missing.

As far as the Wings wearing us down, well yes they did, but they were helped, the Kings and the Sharks didn't help and don't deny they are good teams also, anyone who does has no resect for the sport, and I think you do

I agree with everything you said. I had a feeling the Avs would loose last night but not get their asses handed to them. I think that the goal that spooked Roy is when he tried to get cute and do the "statue of Liberity" save. Since that goal he wasnt the same. Yes Roy is arrogant, when the local tv stations interview him i cant stand the way he "dismisses" them. but oh well everybody is different.

are you talking about when Lemieux leveled whats his name and had to be carried off on a streecher? well if thats it i remember the wings got even and had two avs carried off on streechers the next game. or are you talking about the Lemieux/Drapier fight, now that was an awesome fight!!!! you wont see a old fashioned hockey fight like that again.

Take away Uwe Krupp's salary (who only played a couple games all year... well, the last three years actually, due to injury) and the payroll is even. The payroll excuse is weak. Are you aware that the Rangers have a higher payroll?

No when the goalie is on the puck the whistle should blow, you are just being Bias plain and simple, it's been a rule since before you were born so stop now

We picked up 2 players and you picked up 8 = 75% more since we're doing percentages thats pretty big

The only Av that I've disrespected is Waah... and that's because of his arrogance. Forsberg and Sakic are two of my favorite players, fyi. (Especially Sakic... He's got the best running wrist shot ever!)

And actually, the rule reads that the play is stopped when the goalie has control of the puck. He obviously didn't have said control of said chalupa because it went in said net.
