AW9D-Max 12V CPU Power Connection

My Abit AW9D-Max has an 8 pin 12V CPU power connection requiring two 4 pin connectors from the power supply. Will this board work properly with only one four pin connector plugged in?

I am not currently using this board and need to test it before I sell it to someone that has offered to buy it. The only spare power supply I have has only a single four pin 12 vot connector available instead of two four pin connectors. I do not want to sell the board if it is not working and I really do not want to buy a new power supply just for testing purposes.

there is no real yes or no this as it will depend upon the CPU & PSU installed.
The base line though is that some CPUs will run with some 4-pin PSUs so it's at least worth a try with what you have.
