Very pretty, but I'd imagine the constant green at the bottom of the screen would be a BAD thing to have constantly displayed on your monitor. The term "burn-in" comes to mind. Thank you, though.

If it's a CRT of any type; conventional/flat screen it is susceptible to burn in. Period.

I just turn off my monitor, no need to waste CPU cycles on screensavers. Save it for important things, such as ... earning gigs for easynews.

Actually it doesn't stay constantly green. There's an .avi of it on the page he linked to, shadows go over the green which means it changes.

with the higher refresh rate of todays monitors burn in isn't a real prob unless you leave a static image on your screen for say a month straight.

Heh, the whole screensaver is just the 4 second AVI looping. That's it. No dynamic clouds or anything.

Same here! You do realize though that the gigs are based on time not on results. As long as the counter is counting it doesn't matter how much actually gets done.

Jeeez you people are picky......if your afraid of burn-ins......don't use it......if you like the thing.....then use it......simple as that. When's the last time anyone has personally seen a CRT burn-in from a monitor from the late 90's on.......worry warts. I have an LCD anyways......I like the ssaver.....thanks
