I upgraded to a 1 ghz axia today. Running it at 1390 mhz right now. 1400 mhz gives me a STOP error (blue screen). Temp right now is 48 degrees C. This means maybe my RAM isnt fast enough? Not that I'm complaining or anything, 1390 mhz is fast enough.

I think 1390 out of a axia 1 gig is good enuf. You're prolly getting that blue screen not because of memory but because you're ocing to high. Stop there. If you're gonna go higher...then make sure you have a p/s over 300 and some good cooling. Your comp is locking up cuz it's going to high.

What vcore are you using? You might turn it up to 1.85 if you haven't already and see what it can do.

Your sig show a celeron system. What mobo are U using. I got a MSI K7T-turbo-R with a 1 G AXIA 266FSB that took off at 1470 quite easily. I use Crucial CAS 2 PC133 (384 MB) and a FOP 38 with reduced fan speed. Got it here in Canada from NCIX.com.

Oops, the rig in my sig is the older system. Time for the update ...

I think my ram may not be up to it. I've got some crucial ram mixed in with cheaper ram.

Increasing the I/O voltage hasn't ever seemed to help me. I just have a questionable KT7A board that just don't like to FSB overclock. Heck I have been planning on getting the Iwill board but this new Epox board seems to be behaving very well, downside is having to purchase DDR memory.

Oh well, I will just have to force myself to buy DDR and have faster memory. I know I am sacrificing.........

In the Smart Settings (CMOS) have you changed the BUS speed to 133?? I'm running the KK-266R FSB 140 X 10 = 1400 stable. Memory set at CL 3, you should be able to go higher with no problem.
