Babbage's Clearance Games - YMMV

My local Babbages (NE Indiana) is having a clearance sale on some of their already marked-down games. The sale is 90% off the already reduced prices.

I got:
Tribes 2: $1.30
Rune Gold: $1.00
NOX: $1.00
Ducati World Racing Challenge: $0.50
Family Feud: $1.00

Of course, this is YMMV but I think it may be worth a call or trip to your local Babbages. It's not everyday you can get five games for $5-ish!

Tribes2?? Are the Sierra servers still up? Sad shame, for a game that started off so well....

servers are still up. the game would have been so much better if they had released it when it was ready.

Rune was a decent game. I wrote a CTF mod for it that was the top played mod for a *long* time, tho that had more to do with the small community than with my programming talent I'm sad to say

It was fine when it first came out, granted it had bugs but what game doesn't.
Oh and there was that matter that they canned the whole friggin team of designers...So yes it was released prematurely but blame that on Sierra.
It easily could have turned into something even bigger...
I don't think I've ever seen so many mod's for one game.

Yes every game has bugs, but this one was ridiculous. There were several features that were supposed to come with the game that they actually patched in later (ie community). I still play it every once in a while, but I like Tribes 1 better
