Bacardi is the most impure, rotgut crap I've ever drank. 3 rum & cokes (I generally drink triples) and I'm flirting with a fuzzy feeling the next day. Meanwhile I can put down a pint of most stuff over the course of a night and not have to pay for it the next day. It also gives me bad gas for some unknown reason

Bacardi is the premium rum. Hands down. I prefer the dark varieties myself, with Anejo being my favorite. I emailed Bacardi, and they responded promptly and gave me a coupon.

That's amazing, I didn't realize they were so close. I thought Jack Daniels and George Dickel were the only 'local' distilleries.
