Back up laptop HDD - Please help

Hi,

My laptop recently broke, I need to copy the files to my other laptop.

Can anyone advise me as to what cable I need and where I can buy it, please.

its sata, you just take off that little adapter at the end there and you can plug it into a regular desktop

If it's a SATA connector and you have another laptop. I would say get an external dock (USB).

What Fujitsu drive is that in the picture?

It looks like there is some sort of drive sled or cage type of thing that is wrapped around the drive covering up the normal SATA connectors. There's probably a handful of extra screws on the sides or bottom of the drive that hold that cage on. You will probably need to remove that before connecting it to anything else.

Yeah, as rsutoratosu already said, it's an HP sled adapter. It pulls right off to expose a standard SATA connector.
