Why no outline for driver ?

Way too much blood IMO to be real

blood splatter analysis anyone?

My guess is, the wholedeer was still in the window when the driver stopped the vehicle. The driver applied the brakes, which tore the deer in half, he got out of the vehicle, and the blood continued to spray.

I have to agree, it really isn't that bad. Last time I hit a deer on the road we were pretty lucky. Doing about 70 down a back highway in northern WI near the UP in an early 80's grand marque. Was chatting with my grandma and aunt when we looked up and saw a deer head sitting on the hood looking at us. Never even felt the hit and the deer wedged between the front bumper and radiator. Real pain to separate. Such fun!

A friend of the family was killed that way. A large dog was hit by another car, and that propelled it through the passenger side of the windshield of their oncoming car.

I'm probably the only person in this forum who would have actually checked if I were there
Mmmmm Venison.

(would you object to eating steaks because the cow was hit in the head with a car? A sledgehammer?)

edit: no, I think there are 2 or 3 others who might have checked...
If all 3 of us were there, we could have started a little campfire, and cooked some nice fresh steaks over it.

Bah. Just pop the hood and toss them on the engine block.
