Either they've replaced the entire roofliner with that red one, or they've glued some red felt over the original. In either case, reverting the roof color will not be easy and likely require getting an entirely different roofliner, including for the sunroof cover.
Guess it settled, don't think I can handle the red in the long run.
To have someone do this professionally would cost you around $500-700.
Makes you wonder if something happened to the original, unless the previous owner just had a serious lack of taste and judgement. It's a 2018 and has THAT headliner?
Nope
It's subtle but from the two photos, the car looks kind of dirty for a 2018. I guess you can have the cloth interior detailed, but they must have done a number to the headliner for it to be replaced so soon.Makes you wonder if something happened to the original, unless the previous owner just had a serious lack of taste and judgement.

To have this done professionally would also require a lot of flat brimmed baseball hats with the tags still on., an inability to pass a drug test and also some surprise items hidden in the seat cushions.
Now I miss my Brady wagon again though it wasn't that pimped. I wish they would make thin steering wheels again and bring back one finger driving. To have this done professionally would also require a lot of flat brimmed baseball hats with the tags still on., an inability to pass a drug test and also some surprise items hidden in the seat cushions.
Don't know what model Honda this is but some words that appear in my head are
Repossessed
Auction
Arrest warrant
Project car for influencer channel on tiktok but just found out that mom found their shroom stash and that they finally have to go get a real job and pay rent.
Their for he has to abandon the project of making his honda interior look like an 80's buick
Just my inclination, but I wouldn't make the color of a headliner a make-or-break criterion for buying a used car.
For me, the important things are those that make it run reliably. Was it ever in an accident? Did the prior owner abuse the vehicle? Did he dutifully perform the regular maintenance? Given the mileage on the car, when could I expect to replace an alternator? A waterpump? A radiator? a CV joint?
So on and so forth. Now -- if that headliner were part of the exterior, or it was something visible from outside the car, maybe I'd look for alternatives. But I'd certainly look for alternatives if it had an accident history or showed signs of abuse by a previous owner.
