Bad Nec 20wmgx2?

Ok I turned my Nec 20wmgx2 on today and its doing this:

Their's red blothces everywhere I've tried a different cable different computer different video card nothing, is she dead??

Definitely defective.

The first one just looks like contrast>50% to me (it clips the gamut on many LCDs including this one).

Dam that's what I thought. I already called NEC and sent in my invoice from newegg. I'm just waiting for the rma number and how to send it back and get my new one. Its only about 20 days old too. How well is nec's warranty, do they cross ship etc...

Its funny you mentioed Contrast because when I mess with that....it seems that's what has gone bad......

NEC warrenty aint bad, they should send you a new one and then ask for the fuct one after. Although i think they send refurbs if its more than 14 days old. At least thats how it works in the UK.

My cross-shipped 2070NX had 1 dead pixel.
