How do I perform an "hanging ledge takedown"?
I stand on the ledge marked in the picture, but it doesn't indicated that a special takedown is possible, just the normal drop takedown.

That's odd since the hint in the challenge clearly states that I have to be standing on a ledge on top of an enemy. I'll try that, though, and see what the grade system says it was.

I did what you described and afterwards it says "ledge takedown", no "hanging". I've seen videos of it: Batman uses his legs to choke the enemy. But I don't know why I can't do it.
Any mods, perks, etc to getting this game for the PC vs. consoles?

Loved the first 2 batman games SO much but so far with this one.
1) Numerous crashes, fagging about trying to update drivers and redists that clearly didn't install correctly the first time around.
2) Troubles getting SLI working correctly
3) Object pop in, in game in new areas that are loading I rotate the camera and objects aren't buffered outside the screen, occasionally (and it's fairly rare) they'll pop in at the edge of the screen.
Always found it better to play the arkham series with a 360 controller, except for possibly the predator modes.4) THERES NO FUCKING MOUSE SENSITIVTY SLIDER IN GAME, how retarded is this seriously, it's fucking 2013 not 1989
After getting used to the Arkham City UI it's not that difficult to navigate, but I do agree it's not as pretty, although when has batman ever bothered with being pretty.5) The UI in general is just fucking awful, a seriously massive step back from the prior games, clearly made for use with a gamepad, there's load of little complaints here
Again, no issues here, try a single card, maybe using the 2nd purely for PhysX5a) It's a bit laggy selecting certain things which makes fast navigation troublesome
I've found that both the previous games were very versatile, allowing you to switch between keyboard/mouse and gamepad at the press of a button. Handy for different playing styles.5c) The Xbox buttons load first then are replaced by the PC menu icons so you get a glimps of press A or X or whatever, lmao.
I'd say 30 seconds max, much quicker than previous games that had to log in to games for windows live.7) You can't skip the intros you have to google for a god damn fix so it doesn't take 60 seconds to get in the game ever time you load, including all the times you need to restart to change graphics/physx settings to get the balance right, completely gay

Arkham Asylum was one of the biggest and most pleasant surprises I think I've seen in the current generation of console ports (last 7 years) and they fucking blew it out the park with Arkham City with yet again another absolutely solid title, and so far this has been totally gay. I don't use the slang gay very often I save it for really gay things, but so far this has been really super gay.
Fuck you Warner Bros or whoever made this, you retards spoilt a series which up until this point had been masterfully executed.
I've only had one technical issue so far, and that's when they audio stopped working after entering a building. I restarted the game and all was well. Haven't had any other issues, though I always use a controller with these types of games.

I found that the latest drivers didn't install properly either but I'm still getting very smooth framerates on a single 670 with 320.49

Like I mentioned in a previous post, It's hard to top Arkham City, but I'm just glad there is more of the same, even if it's not quite as awesome.
Multiplied by the multitude of restarts required in order to get the game working smoothly because you have no idea what your frame rate will be when setting graphics options, the initial crashing makes this far worse.
It's IMMEDIATELY obvious this was not made by Rocksteady, their attention to detail, especially in the PC ports of the console game is second to none, this takes a great big steamy dump over their franchise, what a diabolical turn of events.
