I found that the latest drivers didn't install properly either but I'm still getting very smooth framerates on a single 670 with 320.49
The latest drivers from Nvidia game me an error when installing actually, but it's not just the drivers, the games installer fails to correctly launch the redist packages it requires to run correctly, pretty basic failure to be honest.
I'm sure it will work fine on a single card
I got SLI working in the end, the game was crashing and disabling it
Always found it better to play the arkham series with a 360 controller, except for possibly the predator modes.
Both prior games work flawlessly with the mouse and are extremely enjoyable experiences, there's literally ZERO excuse for a game in 2013 to be missing basic control settings such as mouse sentivity, especially when mice run the gamut of 500dpi to 8000dpi
After getting used to the Arkham City UI it's not that difficult to navigate, but I do agree it's not as pretty, although when has batman ever bothered with being pretty.
First 2 games had really sleek, responsive and well designed UIs, this one is horrible, it's nasty to navigate with the mouse.
I'd say 30 seconds max, much quicker than previous games that had to log in to games for windows live.
Multiplied by the multitude of restarts required in order to get the game working smoothly because you have no idea what your frame rate will be when setting graphics options, the initial crashing makes this far worse.
I spent the first 30 mins of the game playing the game, and the next 6 hours for that matter
I spent the first 2 hours fixing problems, 30 minutes laughing at how pathetic the start of the game was and noticing in game errors, lack of detail on batmans model, and a huge swath of other issues in the singleplayer, then managed to get into the freeroam world where I noticed the lack of detail in the world (despite max settings) and basically the massive step backwards from the first 2 games.
Like I mentioned in a previous post, It's hard to top Arkham City, but I'm just glad there is more of the same, even if it's not quite as awesome.
It's mostly more of the same but everything is just missing that quality the originals had, it was genuinely nice to be playing Batman again but the list of flaws just keep on piling up like a chase scene in a Micheal Bay movie.
It's IMMEDIATELY obvious this was not made by Rocksteady, their attention to detail, especially in the PC ports of the console game is second to none, this takes a great big steamy dump over their franchise, what a diabolical turn of events.
