Battlefield 1942?

Is it a good game. I have been a Quake 3 based game player for a while. I like games like MOHAA, SOF2, MOHAASP, and others. Is Battlefield 1942 better than MOHAA? Is it worth the 50 dollars?

Gogamer has 48 madness sales. I got bf1942 for $19.42 during a 48 madness sale. Shipping is high. To get around this order the game with up to 2 more people. It cut the shipping down. Or order more than one game, up to three games for shipping $5.99.

It's still a good deal at $28.98.
