The cost for that card is likely closer to $280.00-300.00 IF it's even that low. I used to work in an electronics store, and the markup on these items was slim pickings.

If we were talking about a 25' S-Video cable that retails for $50.00, and the cost is $4.00, then you would be correct.

Actually, I meant the original use of Ferengis in this forum; those who buy things to resell them. But it doesn't matter -- If you get and keep this certificate when you tried to buy it knowing that the price was wrong (and you complain about Ferengis of any type), then you are a hypocrite: "a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion"

Do bleeding edge consumer electronics like a GF4? I think not. Esp. if you are BB. Best Buy is the single largest electronics retailer in the north east if not the entire US.

Actually, I did work for a LARGE company, who just happens to be the largest retailer IN CANADA. (Hudson's Bay Company)

Hey captain dickhead, do you have proof? There have been too many photochop examples lately regarding this issue for me not to be skeptical of anything you clowns post/say.

And yes, bleeding edge peripherals do generally have a higher markup, which is why I gave the GF4 card a probably 30% markup (which is HUGE for computer components.)

And as for why I have an opinion, its because I am entitled to one. I only try to present the facts, not hearsay trash from the internet.
