Hello. I've just installed a wireless network in my house. the house is reasonably sized, and there are no other networks nearby. I am using a Belkin wireless G router, a Centrino laptop, and a belkin wirel G Desktop network card in my PC. there is another PC connected by wire.
My problem is this - I have installed the card and router and everything is fine on the wired PC. I also have an excellent connection on my Centrino lappy. The problem is I have no connection to my wireless desktop.
Ive played around with the setings, and the only time the power lights on the PCI card comes on is if i set the card to Ad-hoc mode. in infostructure it seems dead. I can detect no network with the card at all. I have tried running my laptop from the same position as the card with no problems. Has anyone got any suggestions?
My rig = XP2400+, 512 MB ram, win 2000 SP4, onboard network 10/100 and PCI D-link 10/100
