Benchmarks for UT 2003

This sucks, I can't even max out the settings with my g4 4600 @ 1280x960


Why? I max out the settings and play at 1280x1024 with a g4 4200 overclocked and it runs Great.

Are you SURE you don't have anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering turned on?

There both off. What other settings should I check? If I turn everything on max, it gets like 15fps in that CTF map when theres nobody on the screen.


edit, I turned hardware+EAX to software. It made a big difference. I thought my Audigy could handle it but it cant =( Now im running 1280x960 Max details 50fps =)

It sounds an awful lot like you have one or both turned on... There's not a lot else that would slow you down that much. I get over 40 fps at 1600x1200 with my Ti4200 running at default speeds.

Unless you're running a Ti 4600 with a Pentium II 266, you should be getting significantly higher than that.

If you're using the benchmark function, it runs with sound disabled.

Changing your sound settings should have no impact.
