You can talk about money or his personality all you want, but the fact remains many miracles or "unexplained scientific phenomenoms" have happened. You can be atheist or skeptical but under his ministry there are many documented things that have no explanation but a supernatural occurrence. I am not saying I like him or not, but you can't deny the things that happen. That?s all I'm saying.

I didn't watch the first 30 minutes of it, but I think they were showing how it is all a script when he would heal people (no Sh!T).

He should run for President. He'll win the south easily

How is he stealing anyone's money? I didn't see the show.

Classy,

I am VERY skeptical about this man. I was MARRIED in his church and saw firsthand how he preached PROSPERITY much too much. I disagree with you SO much when you talk about "documented" things happening.

Please open your mind and consider this information, from an interview from a fellow christian:

Documentation? What Documentation?

That's just a document that is skeptical. Now I agree that prosperity has become the new God in the faith church, its definately a problem. Who do you call a liar or fake when someone tells you this

We thank the Lord Jesus for the healing of our daughter Suzanne. We had sent in a request for the healing of my wife and unborn child. During my wife's pregnancy, our daughter was diagnosed with a problem in the left ventricle and down syndrome. The doctor advised us to terminate the pregency, but we both told the doctor that we are going to pray to our Lord Jesus. We sent you a prayer request on March 30, 2004 and my daughter was born on the April 14, 2004 normal without any problem. We thank the Lord Jesus.

Out of all the television preachers I know of only 3 scandals, Peter Popoff, I think that is his name, the Bakers, and Jimmy Swaggart. So 3 out of thousands is hardly a sign a scandal ridden.

And this Himm guy isn't? He spent like $10,000 a night at some presidential suite. He steals money from his own organization and gives it to family. The dude owns a mansion that's worth like $5,000,000. He even owns his own jet.

He's such a great christian :disgust:

i know nik likes benny, so i try to be a little open minded about the guy.

i beleive miracles happen all the time. i'm pretty sure that the case of Suzanne that classy cites was surrounded by massive amount of prayer by a ton of people. I am highly skeptical that Hinn had anything to do with it.

That's about as open minded as I can be...

What about Oral Roberts? Isn't he the one who said God told him to raise $8 million, or he'd "be taken home"? Then, when he didn't raise the money, he just kept on preaching.

Hmmm the richest people of the Bible were children of God. Where do people get this because your christian, being broke means your humble? Its total ignorance of the Bible and what being a christian really is.

what the fack? He's living the lifestyle of a frigging hollywood celebrity, not a preacher. I wouldn't mind if he paid himself like $500,000 a year (that's what the president of the read cross makes, iirc). What kind of mindless drone are you? It's really sad that this weasel can scam people so easily. All the other LEGITIMATE charities suffer because of this a-hole.

I'm happy that your daughter was born without any problems. However, you could've prayed to Santa Clause, the boogeyman, or Joe Pesci (props to George Carlin) and your baby would've been born the same. God/Jesus just doesn't alter the "divine plan" to make you happy.

back to topic: Benny Hinn is a crook. Can I blame him? Nope. People are willing to toss their hard-earned money his way. They get what they deserve...

That's what it boils down to. I don't fault him too much for exploiting peoples ignorance.

Uh, didn't i just say in my post? I don't mind him getting reasonable compensation, but he runs a NON-PROFIT organization. When he starts living more luxuriously than many CEO's, then i have a problem with that. I can't believe i'm having this argument with you... if you can't see what a crummy scam artist this a-hole is, then that's your problem.

He and Dumbya are using the same tactic. They say that God talks to them directly, and apparently there enough fools that believe in both of these liars.

Benny Hinn does NOT preach or practice the teachings of orthodox Christianity. I consider him a charleton someone who is purposely taking people down the wrong path.
