It's easy, your hand is probably already on the keyboard.
So I should change my work-flow because Apple is cheap and won't pay for a second button?

You know you can use just about any USB mouse on a modern Apple system, right? No need for more than 1 button anyways.
I use a USB mouse on my current notebook a lot, but the touchpad has 2 buttons and a scrollwhell so I can actually use it when I need. Only having one button is extremely crippling, I use button 2 just as much as button 1 on my mouse.
Command + Mouse Button = Middle click
Ctrl + Mouse Button = Right click

Where is your cold-heartless-single-button-mouse-wielding-master, Apple now?

Laptops win yet again...
But can you perform such feats on a apple desktop system?!?
No, you stop being cheap and plug in a mouse or just get a different laptop in the first place.

So, what's the problem again?

They don't include 2 mouse buttons. The fact that I don't own one of their laptops (of which the lack of buttons is a reason) doesn't take away from the fact that it's a stupid design decision.

Or by adding a second and possibly third button to their touchpads and mice.
I too find it amazing Apple just did that a couple days ago. I bet that mouse will cost $100.
$49.00 USD.

Stay away from 64 Bit windows for a while, there is not a lot that supports it yet.
You're talented. I learned to use the arrow keys along with the end/home/delete keys smoothly without looking while coding once. Then I started using a stupid microsoft keyboard that moved those buttons from 3x2 to 2x3 for no apparent reason. I got all messed up and now I can't use any of those keys while looking. Now that I have a Powerbook, I'm getting used to the key combos, and I think they've done a decent job of packing it all into a small board, but I find myself trying to use them on pc keyboards now.Originally posted by: n0cmonkey

I've got like 6 different keyboards I'm used to: cheap ergonomic keyboard, Powerbook keyboard, wireless kingston Mac keyboard, Sun keyboard, crappy dell keyboard at work, and my Zaurus's keyboard. Swiching between each one (except to the Z's keyboard) is pretty simple. Switching between Command+C and ctrl+C isn't difficult.
If you don't want to do it, don't buy Apple hardware.
