Yes .... I don't want to start a war of too many words ... BUT, in my not so humble opinion ASUS beats MSI in all respects. I've used both; nuf said.
The Maximum PC mag's "DreamMachine 2004" was the ASUS P5AD2 Premium.
I just replaced my P5AD2-e Premium and must say that it's the best board I've ever had. Tons of features and rock solid for stability. If you might go dual core, you may want to look at the 955s/945s or NF4 SLI chipset motherboards. The Gigabyte 955x Royal is a good board. I would not recommend the P5WD2 Premium, even though that's what I have.
Capt Caveman, I was going to order the P5WD2 Premium, what don't you like about it?
The only thing that's putting me off right now is the way Asus seem to be screwing everyone over with the Wifi/TV card.
