I keep hearing about the Genie but don't know where to get one. Anyone know of a good *online* store that has it?

I like my Antec SX1030B a lot. It is mainly a server and is dual processor, but the Antec keeps it nice and cool

I'm irritated that the SX1030/830/840 don't have a slide out mobo tray. It would be very irritating If I didn't have one in my Antec KS-188. Otherwise I'd love to get one.

Aopen Aopen Aopen!!!

if you wants to mod your rig, they are very versitile, Look into the HX-08 or the HQ-08 fulltowers, have a look around, there are plenty of modded examples on the net around the place, www.overclockers.com.au (go aussie go!) and search for aopen fulltowers and there will be a fair few examples of what can be done etc

A solid case tho possibly a little big for what your after i dunno?

The differences between the SX-830 and SX-1030 are the 1030 has a door and an additional 3.5 drive cage.

I have the Antec SX830 case and I love it. Has everything I need in a case. And it comes with dual case fans, with slots for 2 more + HD fan. How many cases can you say that about??

Hmmm. I ordered my SX830 from OnVia 8 months ago or so, and I'm not sure who did what, but my 830 came with the extra drive cage. So, I have the extra room for more drives. I really do like that case, tho. I replaced an Enlight 7237 with this one, and I have much more drive space. And I had an older 7237 with 1 piece cover, so this case with removeable door is also a great bonus.

One of the roomiest cases I have/have used is the Enlight EN6680. Only problem is that it's an AT case. But it has
(1) 3.5", (4) 5.25", and (4) hidden 3.5". Nice thing about the hidden 3.5" is that they are in "slide in" cages. Put
your drive in this little cage/bracket, and then slide it in. Easy to take out to get to other stuff. Great case (I have 3). One problem tho is that it's AT. Won't support my T-Bird. Hence the SX830.

My next mod to this unit will be to replace the PS with an Enermax 365 350W Whisper, and to replace my PAl6035 with a Taisol GCK760092. I want this thing "sprint/pin drop" quiet, if I can get it. Already have 4 Silencer fans in it, so this is the last of it, I hope....

Have you guys seen the Lian-Li aluminum cases? They are sweet cases with great design. It has two blow-in fans built in on the bottom of the case and the internal HD bays sit just behind it, affectively doubling as HD fans.

The only problem is it is $180 w/o power supply. Definitely different and worthwile if you want to OC or just impress your geek buds.
